WooCommerce, WordPress pages, Theme search bar

edited October 2014 in Fame Posts: 12
Hi,

I am currently running into an issue with Fames header search bar. I can't seem to get it to return results that match pages(not posts) on my site, but it also doesn't return any WooCommerce products also. I need the search to return anything that matches the string passed along. Is there anything I can do to get the search to work?

Thanks

    Hello:-)

Search function is default one so there shouldn't be issues with that. Can you show link to you site?

In version 1.3.0 we have added option to change default search to work like Woocommerce search http://www.apollo13.eu/themes_update/fame/index.html so make sure you don't have this checked (General->Woocommerce theme settings)

    With regards.

Here are links to some products, a page and some recipes:

    1) http://windsorsalt.clientreview.ca/culinary-salts/
    2) http://windsorsalt.clientreview.ca/our-company/community-outreach/
    3) http://windsorsalt.clientreview.ca/category/chefs-selections/

The recipes show up according to title, however nothing for products or pages

Indeed, I have searched "Agricultural Products" and it didn't find it. Please switch to default wordpress theme and try same thing. If it is still the same then we have to search in plugins, cause they are often guilty ;-)

    With regards.

I am sorry, I thought you meant the standard Fame theme, since I have a child theme running. I get the same result running Twenty Fourteen, does this mean its a WordPress issue?

    Thanks

This mean there is probably some plugin making bad things ;-) Please try to deactivate plugins one by one, and check will it work after each deactivated plugin. If you still will get no results then I will try to do it for you :-)

    With regards.
