I know that updates aren't made for this theme anymore but I'm finding conflicts with my audio playlist plugin. Is there a simple way to fix or avoid this?

reference: www.lukesellick.com/music - the audio playlist works correctly in Twenty Fifteen but is not aligned properly in Skyfashion.

For me playlist looks legit, but player buttons are shifted. However I don't see any Skyfashion CSS interfering there. However if you mean that, then you can use this custom CSS

.progression-skin .wp-playlist.wp-audio-playlist .wp-playlist-next, .progression-skin .wp-playlist.wp-audio-playlist .wp-playlist-prev {
    top: -65px;
}

If that won't help try this instead top: -65px !important;
