I'm setting up the site and have encountered a couple of problems.

1) The logo is grainy despite how I upload it. Is there something I'm missing? I've tried PNG and GIF.

2) I want the homepage to have a full page picture a la the demo. How is this accomplished?

This is done by use of Revolution Slider plugin. You can import demo data and see how it's made.
