search feature page has no navigation please help!!!

Great theme love it. When I use the search feature - the navigation disappears when I search. I think maybe something is missing from the search.php - If you happen to know what that may be - please let me know - thanks so much.
also on page 2 when there is less result the footer pushes up to half page - is there a way to keep it at the bottom? or not really.

I have just tested search http://www.carbonblocktech.com/?s=filter and everything looks nice, nav is ok and all;-) Please verify it.
About your second question - we would have to write little custom JS that will set
min-heightof#midelement. Or you can just add more items to sidebar ;-)With kind regards.
