Real album-slideshow on frontpage?

Hi there. I just bought the Spaceship-theme, and I love it. But I've got a problem.
I created an album with photos, and everything is wonderful when I enter the album by going to mydomainname.com/album/albumname.. I've got the arrows on each side, and the thumbnail-bar at the bottom.. All good, and how I like it. But when I want to have the same album on my frontpage, the first page that people see when they enter my website, the arrows and the pause-button are now at the buttom, and the thumbail-bar is inactive, and can't be used.
I've tried creating a page as my static page, but I don't know how to put my album as my static page.
I'm gonna link to some screenshots.. The text is in danish, but I hope you'll get the meaning.. The green check mark symbolises how I want the album to be on my frontpage as well:

It looks like you have setup album as background album of page. To set it proper follow this http://apollo13.eu/docs/spaceship/#!/main_settings_menu
