Share buttons in an album

Hello, so all the share buttons (e.g. to Facebook) in an album directly on an image did not seem to work like it should!
My opinion on that is, when I click on a share button on an image, it should share this image but it wont. It shares the whole album...

Could this be corrected in the next update?

    In previous version it was sharing bare photo, so user was not landing on your site, but only seeing a photo. Now when he clicks link from facebook it opens album, and then opens THIS photo in lightbox. Read more in above topic.

    Do you have any ideas how could I make both worlds happy?

    Yes in deed. If you click on the share its ok to directly show the picture in the lightbox. BUT also let the same picture will be seen in the share itself other wise its very strange if I share a picture and in the e.g. fb share it shows me a different picture.

    As I wrote in above mentioned topic
    As for sharing single photo in bricks album, I already changed it so it will link to album, now I will just add some script that will open image after page load. Unfortunately now while sharing photo from album you wont get thumbnail with image you clicked but with featured image of album. Unless I will find some solution for this issue:-)
    Unfortunately I didn't find solution for this from plugin API level, so it pickups data of album instead(featured image).

    I would love to make that perfect solution as I described in above quote, however it is not possible.

    Do you wish for switch in admin panel that can allow old way of sharing, where you see photo you shared in facebook post, but when you click it you see only bare photo?

    OK then, I will include such switch in next small update.
    One more idea came to my head, that I could instead give link to attachment page, which looks like this: http://photon.apollo13.kinsta.com/album/gallery-by-jay-mantri/veniceblt/ , and this can lead to album.
    However for now I see it doesn't have proper thumbnail, but I will investigate if anything can be done.

    EDIT:
    I have checked again and it shows proper image, so it might be better solution:-)

    Cause idiots from ThemeForest removed our theme, and now they restored it. That is why you get info about same version.

    So what did update 1.1.7 do in terms of this sharing issue? It almost works as it should. It shares the wrong image on facebook, but at least it goes the right image on the website, and now keeps you on navigational site of just a dead end image. However as CFP said, it's really confusing and the people are not seeing updated works, specific pictures you are trying to share with people. Thank you.

    Maybe you have to clear cache for page you share, cause Facebook don't check each time your page for sharing.
    Use this https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ each time that you change way of sharing your albums.

    Hello I seem to still be having a problem with this. Maybe I am missing something. Currently if I share a single photo from one of my albums onto facebook, it shows up wrong on facebook as the featured image of the album. That's ok if I was sharing the whole album in its entirety. But I'm trying to just share a single image. The social media icons are available. I got to share the single photo to FB and it shows the wrong image, it only shows the featured image of the entire gallery. However when you click on the image from facebook it takes you directly to the right photo. So essentially facebook is not showing the single image correctly. What am I doing wrong here? Thank you.
