Before you ask please READ THIS

We almost finished the site...we have the last few questions:

1) when we publish a post in facebook appears our domain and your name APOLLO13.EU.... where we can configure it? see attached pic)

2) when we use the post grid (visual composer) we want to set the exceprt lenght, and change the read more string... (see pic) where we can configure it?

if you want to see the site now is open: www.progettocologno.it

thanks
Angelo

find header.php in main Adamant folder, find there line 9, it should be like:
    <meta name="author" content="Apollo13.eu" />
    and just remove it.

If You want to have full control over the posts excerpt length - the best way is to provide more tag (it can be used even if You design the post with Visual Composer) or explicit excerpt, which is in a metabox under the posts editor.

Just translate it, translate the 'Read More...' string.
Remember to rate our theme if you like it ;)
    All the Best.
  • Hi, thanks for the response:

but do we have to change a "theme core" file to have the correct autor? it seems like a bit rare...and what about when we upload a new version of your theme? can you suggest a plugin that change the author automatically?

    ok for the excerpt

And the read more ok that we have to translate it but the string is property of the theme? because i looked for in the vusuali composer and the string is already traslated correctly....

    Thanks

    Hi,
as for the posts on home page: You have used the 'Post grid' shortcode, which is a genuine Visual Composer shortcode, not ours. You can play with it, and change the layout of single grid item. More on this subject:
    https://vc.wpbakery.com/features/grid-builder/
    https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/Grid+Builder
But we created 'Latest Posts' shortcode, use it and it'll look like on our demo page.

The 'Read more...' string is inside the function.php (..\wp-content\themes\adamant\function.php), there You can find it and modify it manually.
Remember to rate our theme if you like it ;)
    All the Best.
