The "Writing Effect" not working on mobile

The "writing effect" is real cool — and I got it implemented on one of the sections: it writes the word, the cursor flashes, then deletes it, and writes another one.

It works fine on Desktop, but when I open mobile, it just displays all of the words at once.

Please kindly help to solve this problem!

Thank you! I saw it in the Starter theme discussion last night, and applied — but it didn't work. Today, I applied it again and the magic happened. Maybe I forgot to save or some cached version wouldn't go away.
