when i navigate on safari on any gallery i select any of the thumbnail from the grid gallery go forward it does work and whan i go backward the image disappear and leave the closing cross instead, any idea?

You mean you see it only on Safari and on Chrome it is ok?
Do you use mac? What version of safari?
Also what do you mean by "go backward" - what exactly you do?
