text shadow in layer slider

edited January 2015 in Blame Posts: 24
Hi,

I am trying to add text shadow to the text in the layer slider. I have tried the methods online -
putting "#awesome-textshadow { text-shadow: 5px 5px 3px #ffffff;}" in the custom CSS box, and then the ID 'awesome-textshadow' in the Attributes ID box.

Yet nothing is changing. Please let me know how to proceed - thank you!

Adam

ps. my site is impactconnector.com

    Hello :-)

Can you show page(link) where you tried to apply it and also mark on screen shot what exactly element should have this shadow?

    With kind regards.

    Hi there,

    The page link is www.impactconnector.com

The screen shot is attached (red circle around text) - fyi have tried different shadow colours if you think that is the issue -

    Thanks!

OK, your element indeed has this ID so your custom CSS should work. Now only question is what custom CSS box do you use? Is it some box in layer slider(I don't know how they are attached)?

You can try add this in theme Custom CSS field, and it should work then.
    Have you tried this?

    With kind regards.

Thanks! - solved. Did need to use the theme's custom CSS and not that supplied by layerslider.
