Top menu not working with wordpress installed in subdirectory

I have installed wordpress on a subdirectory and it's working fine. The menu is using anchor links and they work fine on the home page. once I'm on a subpage, the anchor links on the menu are wrong. It will attach the WordPress Address (URL) with the anchor in which the htaccess wouldn't be able to resolve it.

This is fine
http://new.silvertoad.co/#home

On a subpage
http://new.silvertoad.co/silvertoad#home

http://new.silvertoad.co/silvertoad is the subdirectory of wordpress

Can you please provide a solution?

this is not another installation, wordpress is installed on a subdirectory "/silvertoad" rather than the root, adamant child theme is also used.

http://new.silvertoad.co/graphic-design/ for example

graphic-design is another page that we created under Pages, once I'm on that page the links on the menu just won't resolve itself for the anchor links on the homepage showing at the top menu. it should read http://new.silvertoad.co/#home but it'll come up with http://new.silvertoad.co/silvertoad#home
