Text Box linked to Work Item - lightbox issues

Thanks, the recent update really helped sort out some issues we were experiencing with columns.
Are you able to assist with something we are trying to achieve?
I would like to link a work item lightbox from a text box on my home page which has an image in it (I'd like it to open as a light box for SEO purposes rather than a link to another page).

Is there a way to achieve this or… Is there a way we can style the existing work item widget to look like the text box I mention above on the home page, with independent styling on the actual work page?

I have wrapped the image in the text box in
<a href> and linked it to the work item previously created. However when I go to preview it - the light box takes a while to load, and once loaded it doesn't look anything like the lightbox/work item on the demo. (Which we really like the style of), and our content inside the light box is off centre and cut off.Is there a way to achieve this or… Is there a way we can style the existing work item widget to look like the text box I mention above on the home page, with independent styling on the actual work page?

everything is possible, but this what You are asking for is a custom work.
Why don't You use 'Works list' shorcode - You'd get exactly what You want?
