Large bandwidth usage, my fault or it is normal?

Hello dear customer care,

I delivered the website thaigallery.it unfortunately it seems to use larghe bandwidth every day.
Now it is 12th Feb and we are at 100% of 14.6GB available for the month...it is incredible!
I know the website is full of beauty pics and other stuff but it seems really a lot, the average visits per day are 100.
I know maybe this is not your business, but you own the theme, maybe there is something that I didn't considered..

I tried also to resize all the pics and compressed the audio background, installed a wp-cache plugin to present html static page cached to the users, but nothing seems to change..

If you have an advice i will appreciate.

It indeed sound like a lot. On your place I would firstly investigate on what exactly this bandwidth was spent. You have to check that in your hosting panel, or ask your hosting provider for details.

Just for compare, I have just checked that all our themes demos, together, use around 100GB per month, and we probably have around 3500 visitors per day.

unfortunately the hosting panel does only have the difference between ftp and http, and 99,99% is http, but there are no specific details about what page or what file is heavy

Then please ask your hosting provider for details. Most hosting providers have such statistics.

Anyway does your site loads slow? Please post link to your site, I will check it quickly to see is there anything strange.

it is fast enough and each page load is like 2mb, so it doesn't seem so heavy...

You have only 1.5 MB mp3, which could cause some increase of bandwidth, but other then that it seems fine and optimized enough. At least on home page. On other pages you have images 1.5MB each. If you count and expect that every person from your 100 visitors visit 3-4 sub pages(average) on your site then you have:
10MB per person *100 = 1000MB ~ 1GB * 15 days = 15GB.

Solution : this is very very low bandwidth limit for your needs - change hosting provider.

thank you for your advices, We are working to get 40gb per month from the hosting. I'm happy to know that the website is optimized as well (in order to have beauty background pics).
