Editing the URL

Hey!

How can I edit the URL in Galleries in order to lose that "/album" word. I need it to be "....com/work" and not the "....com/album/work" :]

Hello:-)

No, you can't.

album & work slugs are reserved for custom post types : Albums & Works.

It is limitation of WordPress that only pages & posts can be added without post type slub as prefix.

If you want to add something with such slug, then use normal page for it.

Currently not, as there is no shortcode to add album in bricks mode to page. But we plan to add it, as it could be helpful in many situations.

Ekhhh... Damn. yeah, that thing would be very useful.

For this stuff I actually installed Final Tiles plug-in, but it actually doesn' t work as nice as advertised The problem to show off horizontal images of choice in column layout stays unsolved to this day..

Olaf, maybe instead try using work post type. You can add there bricks images, text content and your URL will look like yoursite.com/work/your-work-title

PS. I will work on shortcode for bricks album, but in about month, cause I am in middle of big(in terms of code) update right now.
