I purchased the wonderful theme Hypershot and got some small questions where I cannot find a solution.

how do I enter the google map into my contact page and is there a way to add some text underneath the contact form? (e.g. imprint)?

thanks a lot

    Hello,

    thanks for kind words :-)

    To insert google map you have to go to Appearance-> Widgets and there into Contact page sidebar insert Google maps widget.

    If you wish to add text below contact form you will have to edit contact.php and insert your text/html below line ~29
    <?php echo a13_contact_form( $apollo13->get_option( 'settings', 'contact_email' ) ); ?>
    Your text here
    With regards.

    I was thinking of inserting this manualy, but thought there is an backoffice solution for that. Would be a nice idea for an update to read out the already used google-map from the header automaticly and be able to add some text underneath the contact form. Also maybe some other shortcodes like tabs.

    thanks
  • ahhhh.. that brings up the idea to copy that part ;-) in which php is that?

    I am kind of lost in your posts, mainly in third one - it is code from google fonts.

    If you asking where is part where you can edit 'info above header' area, then it is in header.php.

    There is two problems with it: not everyone puts there map, and even if, no one can tell if user would like to use the same map in widget. Too much work for almost no effect for user, or worse for irritating the user ;-)
    Second case is we had google map in 'info above header' area(added by iframe) in first version of Hypershot but it made crush on many iPad & iPhones so look out with that.

    With regards.
