"Load More" button doesn't work

Hey guys,
apparently I have the same problem as mentioned in this thread:
http://support.apollo13.eu/discussion/3742/load-more-buttem-don-t-work/.
The "Load More" button on my portfolio and blog page doesn't work at all.
And I already added some custom styles to fix the buttons design:

.post-content .a13-button {
   width: 120px;
}

.post-content .a13-button i.vc_btn3-icon {
   display: none;
   position: relative;
}

.post-content .a13-button .vc_btn3-icon-left {
   padding-left: inherit !important;
}

.a13-button .hover a, .a13-button .normal a {
   background-color: transparent !important;
}

.a13-button .normal a {
   color: #5472d2 !important;
}

/* custom style that has nothing to do with the load-more-button */
.post_slide_content_wrapper #dsq-app2 {
    margin-top: 25px;
}

Currently using WordPress 4.4.2, with version 1.2.3 of Xpert, and the following active plugins:
Problem occurs on the following pages:
