  Hi there:-)
  
  The "more tag" was designed for blog posts when they are displayed on the Blog.
  However, albums are never displayed in such a way.
  
  What are you trying to achieve - could you give me more details?

  I want to add SEO to my albums, but I don't want to show all the text to my clients.

  OK. However, the "more tag" never worked this way that it would hide anything if it is available in the source code. Unless you have used something else in the past, like some addon.
  
  I believe you could try a different approach. You could add text in the editor that you want to hide, inside a div with a class screen-reader-text
  
  It would look like this

  <div class="screen-reader-text">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, quaestio reprehendunt at team,
   suas fierent similique pri ei. Vix persius salutatus scribentur et,
   usu in nobis audiam alterum, alii delectus sensibus sit ei.
   Quo natum euismod an, his ipsum maiorum ei.
   Mucius graeco assueverit at pri. Affert quaeque omittam mel ea.
   Et quis quas per, at wisi clita homero sit.</div>

  Text in this div will not be visible, but readable for Google and others.
