Killing WPForms Cookie _wpfuuid

in Rife Posts: 89
Hi,

in reference to my message in Google Web Font thread, I've figured out WPForms is setting this cookie "_wpfuuid". Their forum suggests to check a box to disable this cookie being set. However, regardless of checking the box "Disable User Cookies", this cookie is still set anyway.

Any idea what can be done? Did anyone else face this issue before me?

Thanks for any help.

Best regards
Marius

    Hey :-)

I have checked on a fresh view of your website and I don't see this cookie being set.

However, if you had it set before, then it can be used probably(just my guess).

    With kind regards.

    Hi Air,

thanks for checking this (and bringing me indirectly to the solution)

Based on your result I found out finally the cookie was set prior I was selecting in WPForms it shouldn't be set. And for whatever reason dataskydd report recognizes the existing cookie and reports out that a cookie has been set (even though it wasn't set during the ongoing processing in that moment). It's a bid irritating.

Latest processing result turned out to be clean.

    So this problem is solved!
