I can't get a background image to show up

Why can't I get a background image to show up in the overall template of the design? I see one was used in this example. I want to achieve the same result.

    Hello:-)

    You want to recreate this layout exactly? Then import predefined set named "narrow2". You can find this in import & export options.

    Please show live link so I could see when you got already.

    Ok, maybe it didn't work. It won't let me substitute my image for the one you have in the template. Is there a certain size that image needs to be to work? Or why is my image not coming up even though I have uploaded my image to replace it under background image?

    Never mind. I think I figured it out. It was the cache. Thanks again.
