  About Video it is rather hard to do it, as there are different video sizes + need to maintain responsivity of layout, so for now it is best we could get. If anything would change in this matter it will be added in some update.

  As it comes directly from vimeo, I really don't know is it possible. I know vimeo enables to color controls buttons, but I never seen anything about background color of video. Still it is deeper modification.
