Body background color
I am trying to chang the background color of my text based pages to something other than white. I have tried using the custom CSS of :
.layout-full #content, .layout-full_fixed #content, .layout-full_padding #content {
background-color: #d1cab6;
}
but no luck. Maybe that came from a response for a different theme.

Your CSS might be good, but maybe it is not showing up or have bugs and is not interpreted. Have you checked is it correctly displayed in code?
