There is no limit in images per album. However some users hit similar limits on their servers. It was once 78 images, but also other numbers. Unfortunately I couldn't recreate such issue so I don't know what is blocking adding more images.
Have you tried adding single image with Add next image or video button?
To be honest I don't know but it could be that. We had some informations about reaching limit in the past(78 for example), but I could never test their servers so I didn't find cause of this issue. Also couldn't recreate this issue on my server.

yes I tried to adding single images with "Add next image or video" button, but it still doesn't work.
Can it be a problem with the "php.ini" file? "post_max_size" or another setting?
