EDIT: Now I see what was visible in our post was not whole code.
You can try to add it in footer.php somewhere at end of file, right after
I've added it to the footer and the homepage keep stay in "Loading site contents, please don't hold your breath :-)".
I downloaded a popup editor and it's the same.
Last try was to use the Raw js in Visual Editor in the homepage and it's still in "loading site"... mood..
I think there's a sort of incompatibility between Fame Theme and Mailchimp's code...
