RSS and Filter Icon Colourchange

but I am not able to find the solution. Want the RSS-Icon and the Filter Icon to be white

This won't do it:

background-image: url(images/controlls.png);
}

I got lost in all your changes and options but now I got it :-)
Pointing to image from custom CSS plugin can be difficult but I think I got proper path for you:

.rss-link, #filter-activate:after{
    background-image: url("../../themes/hypershot/images/controlls.png");
} 

This path should work:-)
