Hello, I'm using Wordpress 3.5.1. I have no plugins activated. However, there are two plug-ins automatically executed in the must-use category: "Force Strong Passwords" and "WP Engine System." (WP Engine is the host.) I have not yet edited any of the code. Everything's worked great so far, except I ran into one snag.
My problem is that no matter how I configure things in Settings > Reading > Front page displays, nothing displays on the front page except for, "Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive." Additionally, whenever I set a page (or posts) as the front page, if I try to access that page from the menu on the site, it sends me to the same "Apologies..."
When I switch to a different theme, everything works normally.
The site I'm working on is
http://jrparkerweb.com. I currently have the "About" page set as the static front page display.
Thanks for your time,
-J.R. Parker

Here is link to documentation about setting front page http://apollo13.eu/docs/beach/#!/adding_frontpage
I think that problem is in this that by default theme is set to display Works list, and that is why you see this message as you probably have no works yet:-) Please go and change this option in Main settings of theme http://apollo13.eu/docs/beach/#!/main_settings_menu
Good luck!
With regards.
