Videos Album

I am trying to create a Videos Album sections, just like in the demo site, however I don't manage to do it. Any ideas how I can showcase my vimeos videos? Best

Hello Air. Thanks for the video and the link. I am trying to do something like in the demo http://themes.apollo13.eu/spaceship/album/video-album/

I do not seem to be able to link the video directly from Vimeo as in the demo. I am creating an album called Videos, adding a video a from a URL (Upload Image, From URL) but with no success.

By the way, the interface shown in the video does not look exactly the same as the one I have. I guess that is a previous version?

Hello Mumi:-)

I will break it into steps for you:-)
1. Go to your Album.
2. Go to section "Album media - Add images" (should be "& videos" ;-) )
3. Click "Show" on existing item, or add new one with "Add next image or video"
4. Change item type in "Choose image or video" to "Video"
5. Paste your link in "Link to video"
6. Done:-)

Hope that will help. Almost same thing should be explained in documentation I linked you.

Hey Air. Thanks again. It all goes fine until "Add next image or video". I click "Upload", then "From URL", then "Insert media from another website", then "Audio, Video, or Other File".

There I can put a URL and a title. I add the Vimeo link and nothing happens. It says "Post updated. View post" but the video never loads and it does not even show in the album section.

Any ideas? Thanks

Did I write anywhere to click Upload? Do you even has such option in Video type? Please.... ;-)

Read again instructions form previous post and follow them directly, and you will be fine:-)

This is what I see. Not too sure why it looks different. I do not even see "Show" even when there is an existing item.

What version of theme do you have? Cause it doesn't look like any new one. If you have anything lower then 1.4.2, then best you can do is go to themeforest and download new version and next follow this http://apollo13.eu/docs/spaceship/#!/installation_update_update_theme

Thanks. that was the issue. I could link the videos.

Now I would like to put a Page in the header that links to the video album (just like in the Demo). If I do a page and choose template Albums it will go straight to all my photos. Any tips?
