Changing the size of the work page image and video display area

Is it possible to reduce the size of the works page image and video display area? so I can use smaller photo without having all the white space on the top and bottom? This will allow me to have the copy show up above the fold without having to scroll down.
Steps to get to the page: demo
step 1 - click on the works link select (list of works)
step 2 - click on a square which open the works page
step 3 - This is the page that I would like to reduce the size of the image and video display area

    Hello:-)

    Thanks for this instructions, but is it possible for you to present desired result on screen shot(you can use Paint or what ever you like). It will then more clear for me.

    This is what I want the page to look like; means that I have removed the white space and the text has moved up

    Hello

    I can see what you have marked on screen shots, but this looks like this, cause in this slider pictures are smaller. You can change size of silder in Works settings.

    Thxs I will edit the slider in the works setting and see what happens...
