In Blog list Brick style, how to hide text from a gallery type post brick ?

In some situations I would like to display a slider in post with some text. No 'problem' till there, although on the posts list, displayed in brick mode, it makes the gallery brick too long compared to other bricks (standard, gallery without text, etc). I've tried to cut out the text using the 'readmore', although displaying that button still pushes the brick height : http://studio.neq3.com/blog/

How would it possible to drop off the text display on the brick ? In a proper way I mean, I could likely do that, but in a probably terrible way

Could you mark on screen shot which text you mean, cause I still don't get it:-) There is no content text, so probably you mean other, right?

cannot do that right now but I have quickly changed the text so you can see what text block i'm talking about http://studio.neq3.com/blog/ , cannot miss it (I hope).

Although don't pay attention for now, I could add a optionnal music selector per page (to my great surprise), you've just answered to my hide-layout-by-default (which was JS related so way much out of range for me), I can probably succeed about that one.

I'll come back today with or solution or screaming for help if really needed, save your time for now
