Portfolio and blog confusion

i just purchased the skyfashion theme! and i really cannot get the portfolio to work! I did a clean install (deleted db and all files) and have no plugins.

I have created a page called blog with the following attributes: template = blog, site options > main settings > blogsettings is set to "blog".

I have also created a page called Portfolio with the following attributes: template = Portfolio big below, + site opt > portfolio > and selected the "Portfolio" page. (also please see documentation - the attached screenshot - i think there is a typo, as it states that when creating the portfolio page i need to select the template "blog")

I have furthermore added a new work, with portfolio page = "Portfolio"

But when i look at portfolio page i get the following error "aPOLOGIES, BUT NO RESULTS WERE FOUND FOR THE REQUESTED ARCHIVE."

I have tried everything, please help :-)

    Hi blackboxmedia,

    Firstly please tell me have you downloaded full package of skyfashion theme from theme forrest (including demo data, PSD files etc?) or just package with wordpress skin?

    Secondly please send me a temporary wordpress login data through private msg on this forum. I will check why this problem occurred.

    Downloaded the 25th of June 2013 (5 days ago)
    Full package with skyfashion, data, documentation, Licensing, psd.
    Uploaded to wordpress by dragging in the skyfashion.zip and hitting install.

    Hi blackboxmedia,

    Thanks for fast answer. I've resolved your issue.

    In file taxanomy-skills.php there was an offset in line 18 set to -1 and it should be 0.

    We will have to insert this change in our update.

    Hi Argone,

    my name is Katrin and I bought your theme - so far so good. I was able to make a blog page but I can not upload images to my portfolio I always get this error message.


    aPOLOGIES, BUT NO RESULTS WERE FOUND FOR THE REQUESTED ARCHIVE."

    The images never load up properly and sometimes they are missing at all ;( I have spend weeks to try to figure out now what the problem is.
    Where can I choose the column in the portfolio 2 or 4 images ?

    I added the portfolio considering your guidelines exept I think there is a mistake: at page attributes, if I choose blog I get a blog page not a portfolio page

    To add Portfolio page you have to follow this steps:

    Go to your wordpress admin->Pages->Add new
    Add new page named Portfolio. You can leave them empty.
    In the menu Page Attributes in the right side in section Template, choose Blog!!!!!! (Portfolio or ????)
    Go to Site Options->Portfolio
    Choose 'Select portfolio page'
    Save changes.
    You are done :-)

    Another problem is that when I click on the header Logo I get the Main Page but not if I click on the home button ??? then it also says : aPOLOGIES, BUT NO RESULTS WERE FOUND FOR THE REQUESTED ARCHIVE."

    How can I change that ?

    Ok,

    Firstly: download last version 2.1. In full package of our skin you have a documentation. In there you have got full information about how to configure it.

    Ok, now I've got instaled the 2.1 verson, i followed the instructions but the problem still here... i cant put any portfolio.

    Hello Argone- my portfolio is also still not working ? I will have to take it out now...to start my page.
    The update didnt change anything....what do you mean by template view of portfolio??

    Everything works soo simple in skyfashion - why is the portfolio such a mess ?

    Please Argone, try to solve this problem as I cant have a page without it !

    Yess i followed all that but i cant put any portfolio page. My website is www.jcorderoruiz.com but is in maintenance mode. Have another way to you can see the problem?

    I see some mess in files ... i'm sorry but options on file

    are not visible at actual version of Skyfashion.

    Have you updated skyfashion from versrion 2.0?

    Please try to upload skyfashion once again to your wordpress and repeat a process of creating portfolio page.

    Hi, I have Skyfashion theme, just purchased - v2.1 on Wordpress 3.6
    I can't get the Portfolio to work - "Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive."
    I add a page and choose a Portfolio theme for it.
    But when I go to Site Options > Portfolio - the only things I see are Hover Text and Sorting Type. There is nowhere to "Select Portfolio Page".
    When I go to the actual page, I do not see the "Portfolio details" as described in the help file - it's just a normal page.

    I used the new documentation onhttp://apollo13.eu/docs/skyfashion/#!/adding_portfolio as well. I cannot do step 5 in the new documentation.

    I really need your help on the previous question.
    I need my site works as soon as possible because a lot of people asked to see my portfolio. This is a hassle for me not to show them.
