add/show likes for photos

can we add/show number of likes for photos on hypershot theme ? may be like a small heart or something at a corner of the image, would be really awesome. or is there any plugin that we can and modify to do the same.

any help would be appreciated.

If you mean for photos in album it would be rather big modification. For images in normal page/post content it should be much easier, but still I don't have any experience with plugins that do that.
