Is it possible to display a logo wider than 180 px? If the answer is yes, how to do that?

Not quite. You will have to make column of menu wider, but that affects much of layout.
You can try such style:

#logo {
    margin: 0 -40px;
}

To hit maximum width. Change -40px to fit your needs. You can change it from -40 to 0 :-)

You're right. it affects too much the light out on mobile version !
