Album list fit images question

Hi, in album list detail im using Fit Images - Fit Always. But most my images are small with a short height, after i uploaded it, image will go blury to fit the height of website with this setting. Is it anyway to fix it to use the original height of images and align vertical middle?

    Hello

    Such option is available in Hypershot theme, cause there we use our own script for full slider gallery and in Spaceship we use Supersized that we shouldn't modify.

    Are you uploading small images on purpose or they are getting smaller after upload?

    No, we only have small images, height is around 300px.

    Then slider might really be useless for you, better use WP gallery in posts. Here are instructions how to make it in post http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery

    I understand, however Spaceship theme doesn't has such option.

    I think you could fake you images size by adding to theme transparent or better white space so your images would still be 300x300px but placed on canvas for example 1000x1000px.
