Move the main content /the main box/ to the top of the page ?

First, thank you for your fantastic piece of work. Spaceship is my best purchase on Envato so far.
I did a few tweeks and I like the way it turns out... I know that it's not very "clean" / "safe modification" but I switched the position of the Menu, from the top to the bottom of the page... it seems to work well so far.
Although, I'm having a hard time figuring out something: I would like to "raise" the main content to the top of the page. At least, more than what I have currently.
This is what I have right now:

In my "compressed.css".. I tried to mess a little with this setting "padding:0px" but can't get satisfying results... I can only "lower" the content, not "raise" it:
"#content{background-color:transparent;margin:0 auto;padding:0px;width:1120px"
Any ideas ? It would be greatly appreciated.

If you could share live link then I think I could find some solution, by checking what you have done so far. There is also possibility that this padding is set in JavaScript, I don't remember now.
Btw. For modifications it would be better to use not compressed version :-)
