Sidebar in portfolio page

I would like to add in the portfolio page (not portfolio items) the same sidebar as in the front page. Is this possible?

Possible yes, but not easy(a lot to mod) and not all widgets will work good on this page, as they are often related to current post. We didn't do there sidebar for cause of that.
