I would like to keep the menu visible in mobile (not have the small dropdown icon pop up). Is there a way to do this?

Hello:-)

I wouldn't recommend it, as it might end up that someone can't scroll you page to access content, and also it will possibly hide some of page content.

About possibility, you could achieve it by switching visibility of "menu opener" to hidden and click it with JavaScript. Other way it would require deeper theme customization.
