Beach Please 1.4.1 WP Visual Editor broken?

edited March 2014 in Beach Please Posts: 5
Hello, I would like to kindly ask for some help in restoring the visual editor.

I have installed the theme Beach Please 1.4.1 version, and followed carefully the documentation. Unfortunately, the Visual Editor is broken when I try to edit a page.

Using Firebug, I get the error: TypeError: this.getDoc(...) is undefined
(.... tiny_mce.js?ver=359-20...)

When I change the theme to twentytwelve, its working again which means something in the Beach Please 1.4.1 Theme is not playing nicely.

Does anyone have any clues?

Thanks in advance.

I found that the above problem is caused for some reason by the revslider plugin 4.3 which is included with the Beach Please 1.4.1 Theme.

I downgraded revslider to some older version (2.3.91) and the WP Visual Editor has been restored.

Digging into revslider, I see it gives a Network error, maybe it is trying to activate itself and causing the tinymce Visual Editor to malfunction?

This is a serious error and should be taken care of.

    Yes sir! ;-)

    Hello :-)

I have just checked and indeed, when RevoSlider is embeded in theme it makes such issues. It looks that we need to add it by plugin installer. So I will work on it now. Thanks a lot for reporting it!

    With regards.

Version 1.4.2 which fixes this is waiting for approval on ThemeForest.
