Homepage - porfolio + content

Maybe I'm just blind but I can't find if it's possible to put a portfolio and a content page together. I'd really like to have the home page show a portfolio plus feed content from a static page but nothing I do seems to work. Actually, I can't even get the homepage to display a static page, period. Only a portfolio page. Help!

    Sorry to say, but combination you mentioned is not possible in Airlock theme. Possible things to do on homepage are described http://apollo13.eu/docs/airlock/#!/airlock_home_page_design

    So you're saying that I can't assign a homepage and then put both a portfolio and text on it?

    For sure you can use Hello text on homepage for writing, but there is no ready solution to use content from static page there.
