Menu customization

Hi

I want to customize the hover of main menu, to show the whole li coloured as shown in example

Do you think it requires a lot of changes?? Any help to get on the right direction?

    It is heavy thing, cause it depends on size of header, which depends on size of logo and current resolution. So hard to make some general solution for that.
