WPBakery Visual Composer plugin installation fails - "The plugin does not have a valid header"
Hi.
I have made a brand new Wordpress installation (4.1.1) and activated Blame template (1.4.0), but I am unable to install WPBakery Visual Composer plugin. Required Plugins Installer responds with "The plugin does not have a valid header." and "The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.". I have also tried to install the plugin manually by uploading a .zip file (from blame/advance/plugins) but with the same result.
There is also similar problem with one other recommended plugin - LayerSlider WP.
Please give me an advice. What am I doing wrong?

That is strange that only one fails. But doesn't matter.
Go to blame/advance/plugins/ and you will find there js_composer.zip - try installing it manually by wordpress menu.
If this also fails then unpack it from that zip file and upload created js_composer folder to wp-content/plugins/.
