Included Plugin not updating?

Hi Apollo,

I have updated my theme to the latest one - v1.3.7
With every theme update we get notification that certain plugins need to be updated (See below notification).

"The following plugin needs to be updated to its latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme:
WPBakery Visual Composer.
Begin updating plugin | Dismiss this notice"

I have updated all the other plugins, but this one WPBakery Visual Composer - won't update.
I click update, it says it done and updated. but the notice is still there and the version number hasn't changed.

Could you advice how can I resolve this?

Hi Seanstaples,

I manually updated the js_composer folder (that came with the latest update) in wp-content -> plugins on my ftp.
Also deactivated a couple of plugins such as SEO that might have been causing conflict before doing this.

That worked for me.
