remove image under menu AND make transparant

Hello, I am not succeeding in remove the image under my menu AND make that space transparant, its always turning white (made it dark/purple for now). As on http://www.danceatwork.nl. I found the way to do it (a combination of functions/buttons) the day before yesterday but it is so not obvious I forgot how. Making transparent should be enough wouyldnt it ? Plaese advice. Thanks

It is probably background of your page what you see through transparent header.
