White space above main content column

There is padding-top for

which adds whitespace to main content column. Is their a way to eliminate the padding from the customize menus? Or should I just overwrite the css in my child theme?

I have not enough information. What type of page it is exactly? Can you show live link instead? It may be styles for specific page, or there is some text printed like PHP notice.
