Possible to swap out our images in place of the social icons?

Can we use our own social icons here? If so (and knowing that support disappears for this theme for the next 4+ months...yikes!), can you provide detailed directions on how to make that tweak?

4 months?! I know there are different date formats around the world, but we kept both dates in same format, so there should be no confusion :-) It is break till new year. Also lower, in mentioned note,there are dates written with months as words.

If you want to use own icons, then edit images in thirteen/images/ directory that are named socials*.png
those with @2 are images for High DPI devices.
