Hi,
I just purchased the cool Photon theme. For my homepage I created several galleries with round about 60 images all together. This creates a lot of http requests and image loading traffic. I'm wondering if there is a chance to activate lazy loading and something like the RICG Responsive Images plugin to get smaller graphic sizes for smaller devices?
thx

Images in albums are lazy loaded in both cases, that is in bricks and slider. Can I see link where you see issue?
As we already use build in plugin for images in bricks mode there wont be chance to treat them with other plugin. Same for slider where images are loaded in full width.
With kind regards.
I just tested our demo, and I think this is not enough number of images for lazy load to kick in. When I shrink window on our demo http://photon.apollo13.kinsta.com/album/gallery-no-description/?until_refresh_set=1&album|album_content=off I can see it working while scrolling down.
Anyway first images are fetched after whole page is loaded. You can try to test it with 2 or 3 times as many images and you should be able to see it.
With kind regards.
Are there plans to integrate something like the RICG plugin does
Anyway for albums We have focused on making possible using different image sizes in different albums without need to rebuild thumbnails everywhere, so this blocks work of this plugin unfortunately. In different places responsive images will work fine.
With kind regards.
