When I try to active the Fatmoon theme I get an error.

No solutions so far - this is why it is very special case, you're the first person who encountered this kind of problems.
No more answers - the answer in that it is not a FatMoon's bug. No need to repeat it over and over.
For sure this is not a FatMoon problem - it is more like our theme and your hosting don't work well together.
This behavior is caused by WordPress not being able to access files as it should be. And this is not FatMoon fault, it's nobody's fault. Just an ugly case.
Last thing you can try is a solution that worked in this case: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wordpress-installation-crashes-first-on-upgrade-and-now-on-activation/
If this will not help - for sure you can apply for refund ( https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund- ) and we will assist you.

All the Best.
define( 'FS_METHOD', 'direct' );
in wp-config.php file at the top
read more here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php
look for 'FS_METHOD'

I do believe it may be a problem with the host because I have bought this theme twice- one, I used at InMotion hosting and it worked fine- this time I am using it on a different, smaller, host and am experiencing this problem. Do you guys think it may be an issue concerning account ownership? Did the above issue ever get resolved?
This issue unfortunately didn't get any solution. However you maybe right about source of issue. Have you had any success in debugging this or you gave up on this?
With kind regards.
