format (aspect ratio) gallery items in my blog

Is there a way I can keep the original aspect ratio of pictures I insert into the gallery items.

Now the items are forced into a non original aspect ratio.

I believe that this plugin is preparing place for images in 16:9 proportions(almost). It is not possible right now, to change this.
