Hi, is there a way to only display some selected albums (not all of them) on the album list option ?

Yes, either display only category of Albums
http://apollo13.eu/docs/photon/#!/adding_multiple_albums_list_and_categories
Or in albums, that you don't want to display, mark option "Exclude from Albums list page"

I am Struggling please I want my backgrounds of albums and home page to be white and i want the home page menu colour to be a mild grey. Can you point me in the right direction please
