Adding tags to multiple photos at once

Is there a way to add a tag to a selection of pictures ?
I have galery with more than 100 pics and adding tag one by one will take a huge amout of time

Currently not, but I can imagine if you are working hard tagging this would come in handy. Great idea as all your ideas ;-) Adding to queue.
