Transparent header

Hey,

I thought I would try and get a transparent header going just like one of the demo's --> http://rifetheme.com/fatmoon-phoenix/contact-classic-2/

Unfortunately I have not been able to replicate such! :( I may be doing something really silly!

I had a different theme previously however I really liked the Fatmoon theme therefore when installing I did not want to import any demo data as I did not want to loose any blog content etc that I already had.

I'd appreciate your support :)

So to clarify again, I would like my image to go behind my header.

The page on my website is as follows:

http://www.breeze-books.com/contact/

    Hello there:-)

    Thanks for contacting us.

First about importing demo content - you can import only demo look if you like if you select only one option, as described here : http://apollo13.eu/docs/apollo13_framework_theme/#!/importer_configuration :
Importing only look of demo - you can easily switch between layouts presented on our demos if you select only option Import theme settings. Then it will only import themes options - things that you can later change in Customizer.
This will overwrite theme settings(things set in customizer).

    Now back to main question.
I see you have added gradient in one of rows of Visual composer - is that is your image?
If yes, then instead add it in page backgorund and it will work fine then :-)

    With kind regards.

  • Thanks,

The gradient was just an image that I want to show on the first row. I'll be replacing it with a different image.

Therefore would the above be the right thing to do to just have a image show up behind the header menu in the first row and not the whole page?

I want it exactly like the phoenix homepage and also one of the contact pages. See attached image as to what I'm after :)

    Thanks for the speedy response

O yeah sure, you are right and you did it in proper way.

Just one option you have to change - Edit page -> Page details -> Layout & Sidebar -> Content top/bottom padding -> Both off or Only bottom.

    With kind regards.
  • Thank you.

All is good in the world now. All worked :)
