How to optimize header pictures for mobile devices?

in FatMoon Posts: 10
Hi all,

Happy new year and many thanks for your support.

I'd like to know, how I can optimize the header picture for mobile devices?
The pictures on top seem to be like cropped on mobile devices.

Here are the links to the pages:
www.dassalzdestages.de
www.dassalzdestages.de/2-leistungen-services-work-version/
www.dassalzdestages.de/5-1-kontakt/

Is there any "fit to scale" option for mobile devices?
I tried several things in "header settings" but obvious not the right things.

Many thanks for reply and helping!

Alex

    Hello Alex

And thank you so much, we also would like to wish you all the best for this new year!

About your issue, in this case, we can only work on the Visual Composer settings (to be honest, not always good).

First of all, there is only one option to display a background and it works in the same way in all resolutions. You can't decide how it looks on different resolutions.

From what I see you're using the parallax background from here: http://nimb.ws/TWRle1 , right? In this case, you can't use other display method ... you must disable this option and create a background in the next tab: http://nimb.ws/79CXlf

Try with this second tab and maybe your background will look better on the smaller devices.

There is another way to achieve the better result but is more complicated. You can hide this ROW (header) on mobile and create other ROW (Header) for mobile with a different background. You can read about it here in my first comment (third comment from the top): https://support.apollo13.eu/discussion/comment/20548

I hope it will be helpful

    Hi Daniel,

Many thanks. I've tried the first tip and for some pages I could optimize it a bit for mobile devices. For another new page I will try your second more complicated tip and will see ...

Thanks again and have a great time.

    Best,
    Alex
